Mercure Hotel Luebeck City Center - Lubeck

The location here is great, right next to the central train station and Zob with nearby spots like Mijori Sushi Bar where we often grabbed drinks.

Terrific customer care, parking onsite. A bar in the reception, convenient. Location adjacent to most of the interesting sites, the Holstentor and the old Town and good cafes and shops. Also, adjacent to the bus station...

what a very-very nice staff! very good and outstanding breakfasts, with fruit salad and pastry and the flakiest croissants.

The rooms here are stylish, spacious, with large bathrooms making you feel at home, and the location is excellent for easy access to the beach by train.

A great location only a short walk from the historic city gates. The accommodations, helpful staff, and delightful breakfast were all just right. Everything was beautiful. The staff put forth extra effort to welcome us as Americans, who speak very little English. They offered us a free upgrade from two double rooms to a spacious 3-room/ 2-bathroom suite with a balcony. They also allowed us to keep our car parked in their garage free of additional charge for several hours after checkout, even loaning us umbrellas. We would definitely choose this place again.

We found the hotel centrally located, both to Lubeck's city center and to public transportation (the bus depot is across the street and the train station is a hundred yards). The staff was cordial. The breakfasts were outstanding and the dining environment sunny and nicely decorated. We highly recommend Hotel Excelsior.

This centrally located hotel is perfect for exploration of the historic city. It's easy to go around the city by foot, and there are many nearby restaurants. the hotel provides excellent service, clean and comfortable rooms, and a good breakfast spread. the hotel's proximity to the railway station is also a plus.

The parking information could have been clearer.

We staywd there for only one night.

Spacious and clean room with comfortable beds and good bed linen. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of options.

The receptionist spoke excellent English but did not partonise my German. She was very efficient and could not have been more helpful. The room was lovely and the breakfast excellent. The hotel is 5 minutes walk from both the train station and the old town.I Fully recommend it.

The Hotel Excelsior was cosy and well equipped hotel near good traffic connections. Hotel was in good condition and the staff of the Hotel was very friendly. Hotel is exellent choice for Lubeck explorers.

Reserved a double room...very nice, except the large window in the room was blocked almost entirely by a roof of an interior walkway, so the room felt like a dark cave...

Excellent city hotel. Immaculately clean, very friendly and helpful staff and a varied breakfast. Good position for walking into city centre. Area busy but our room at the back was quiet with an interesting view over the rooftops to old Lubeck.Parked car in multistory across the road for 8 euros for 24 hrs.
